The appointment of a Brand and Profile Manager this week by New South Wales sugar cooperative, Sunshine Sugar, adds support to the milling groups focused effort on sustainability, growth and diversification.
Mrs Vivien Miller has been appointed to the role and is tasked with invigorating the Sunshine Sugar brand and profile at a local, national and international level, which includes supporting the launch of new products and customers.
Chief Executive Officer of Sunshine Sugar, Mr Chris Connors says, “Although a long established and successful business, our story and our value to both the Northern Rivers and Australian economies is not widely recognised or appreciated. A dedicated brand and profile custodian will allow us to more proactively share our current achievements and future ambitions.”
Bringing extensive experience in strategic marketing and brand management, Mrs Miller most recently worked in the steel manufacturing industry driving brand development and customer engagement. Prior to this, Mrs Miller worked in national marketing roles for Telstra and Optus.
Coupled with over 10 years corporate marketing experience, Mrs Miller and her husband have a vested interest in the local industry as cane grower members of the Sunshine Sugar Co-operative.
